Artistic touches and ambient lighting infuse the home with laid-back elegance, while its central location means Tulum’s best restaurants, yoga classes, and boutique shops are within walking distance. Lula Wellness studio is next door and Arca, Hartwood, and Gitano are a short walk from the property.

The villa spans three floors: an expansive master suite in the treetops on the third floor, and two second-floor bedrooms—one with a queen bed and the other with a queen plus a single—sharing a bathroom via a central hallway. Each bedroom has its own private entrance for added privacy.

This villa is incredible! Beautiful design, amazing pool, amazing service. It’s walking distance to all the great restaurants, we used a taxi only to go to Azulik/Papaya Playa. Cleaning crew was coming every day, and they were also flexible with timing. There is a breakfast/lunch restaurant in the garden and they have great food too. Definitely one of the best rentals we ever had. Next time I visit Tulum I’ll try to book this place again!

This place was top notch, very beautiful yard and surroundings, it’s less then 1 min walk to the beach which wasn’t bad at all, the shared yard and beach front worked out really well for our stay, house got cleaned everyday which was awesome. I would highly recommended this place!

Perfect Villa Stay in the Heart of Tulum
We stayed at Mahayana with a group of six and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The property is secure, stunning, and perfectly located right in the middle of the beach strip, giving us easy access to beach clubs, restaurants, and everything Tulum has to offer.Our villa was spacious, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Having three bathrooms was a huge plus for our group, and we loved relaxing in our private pool. The hammocks and chill spots throughout the property made it feel like our own little paradise.The on-site taco shop was a highlight—delicious food at a great value—and we truly enjoyed every meal we had there. Housekeeping was thoughtful and consistent, adding a nice touch to our stay. We also appreciated the concierge team’s attentiveness, especially when they quickly helped us after we got locked out of the villa.The beach access is excellent, and we noticed it had less seaweed compared to other areas, which made our beach time even better. The property also provides fun extras like water toys, which we really enjoyed.Mahayana exceeded our expectations in every way. We’ll absolutely be back again soon and highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect Tulum getaway.

I can't recommend the Mahayana enough! You can't beat the location--peaceful, private beach, close to my favorite restaurant Hartwood ,and South Tulum--and the private taco stand onsite was fantastic. The staff were helpful and kind and the property manager was responsive and communicative. The home and rooms were beautiful and well-appointed. If a relaxing Tulum vacation is what you're after, this is the place for you. This could not have been a more perfect trip! The Mayahana is absolutely stunning and every staff person was A+. I hope to come back again in the future!
